Ashbridge School
Before we could get started at Ashbridge School we firstly needed to demolish the existing, worn-out tennis court to make way for the new state-of-the-art playing field. This meant that we had to break out the old concrete slabs then excavate over 3000 tonnes of soil and remove it from the site before works could commence.
We installed a herringbone drainage system to ensure the new playing field would not become waterlogged during wet weather and a permeable sub-baseĀ topped with open graded tarmac.
Finally, we laid some brand new, sand dressed, needle punctured sports surfaces complete with sports markings and installed a 3-metre high rebound fence around the entire complex complete with gates.
